PLKN!!! =)

Hey, Hi, Hello to everyone and may peace be upon you!! ;D

After nearly 3 months -or to be more precise,10 weeks- being in the land below the wind and away from the most beloved internet and my comfort zone, here I am, safely home, sitting on top of one of the most comfortable chair ever - no more wooden bench for me, TQ!- next to my soft and always-welcoming bed in my fortress.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaa!~ Home sweet home!! ^^

Truth be told, I can't believe that I have successfully finished PLKN and am now free!!! WOOOOOHOOOO!!! >< no more rules to be followed and no more uniforms!! YEAAAHH!!! Freedom!!! (well, for the time being anyway =_=")

So, majority of people said that PLKN is awesome, fun and superb. However, honestly I find PLKN kinda boring and definitely not as great as they said. But then again this might be due to the fact that my batch barely have any physical activities. We only experienced one water activity -no kayaking! =( -but even that was boring. Entered the pool for around 20 minutes, swim a li'l bit here and there, and out we go. Very exciting right? NOT. T_T

But I guess the biggest disappointment for me ever is that I did not get the chance to go shooting using M16 due to the chaos in Lahad Datu and we are not allowed to get out of the camp at all for the sake of our safety.So....there, goodbye to my dear M16. =(

When we were first informed about the cancellation to go shooting, I was seriously disappointed. After all, going shooting is the one and only thing that makes me feel going to PLKN is bearable and might be fun. Hence, I was really really really looking forward to it. But then, just when we are one day away from doing so, Dush! It got cancelled. No shooting for me.

So, imagine what would you feel when you had been looking forward to something for nearly a year (I was excited and hyped up to go shooting since the moment I first knew that I'm going to PLKN) and just when you are about to get it, suddenly it's taken away from you. *Sigh* So close but yet so far~
I know that safety is a lot more important, but, I still can't help it but feel very sad.

Anyway, other than shooting, I was also kinda excited for the 'wirajaya' activity since I've never actually built a tent using a poncho and sleep in the jungle. But then, another big disappointment was felt when I saw the camping site. The site was nothing like a jungle! It was basically bare without any trees at all!! -except for three of em- It used to be full of trees but due to deforestation....so... yeah. A jungle with no trees.. =_="

Supposedly, we would do our 'wirajaya' activity at a new site. But since we were not allowed to get out of the camp due to safety reasons, so... that's it. we had no choice but to just make do with what we have.

So, I guess that's it for now! Later!~ ;)

From the one and only,
